Robotics Application of the Year Award
ISPE D/A/CH’s Robotics Applications of the Year Awards is a new annual award program that recognizes innovative applications of robotics technologies in laboratories and production sites. After an ISPE-D/A/CH internal round in 2022 the reach extended to 150 attendees and 20 applications across the pharmaceutical industry in central Europe. This year via we are very to happy to the northern part of Europe by nordic regional partners (link zur Evend and Location subpage)
RAYA is a platform to accelerate the utilization of modern robotics in our industry. This is not only about freeing workplaces from ergonomic challenges and mindless tasks and thus making them more attractive, separating product and people even better, but also increasing availability, efficiency, and quality
Applications from all over the world are welcome!

RAYA 2025
After three successful RAYA award events in the DACH region, we are excited to announce that this year’s ceremony will expand its horizons and take place in Denmark. This prestigious event will bring together the brightest minds in robotics to showcase groundbreaking innovations and advancements in the field.
The submission phase for RAYA 2025 applications will open soon, offering you the chance to present your cutting-edge projects and compete for recognition among the best in the industry.
Categories
If you have robotics applications that could be of interest i.e. have combined applications together or introduced new automation technologies within the below areas, we would like you to apply for. Each category will be awarded separately – depending on the quality of the applications. The areas in scope are:
QC Laboratories
Fill & Finish
Logistics
R&D Laboratories
Drug Substance
Packaging & Final assembly
Drug Substance / API
BioTech
MedTech
The above categories refer to installed applications only (see requirements below). If you want to apply with an application which is not installed yet (e.g. technical demonstrator) you can apply to be awarded a price for the“best innovative technical concept across all categories”. All proposals of any category compete in this additional category automatically, independently from the state of implementation.
In 2024 the jury recognized the need to add a special Award for “Future Software Trends in Pharma” as software becomes a major relevance in robotics even independently from the conrete hardware or application. The award values innovations in software with direct impact to the attractiveness of robotics in pharmaceutical applications.
If no applications are submitted in a category or if the quality of the submitted applications is not sufficient in the opinion of the jury, no award will be given in this category.
