ISPE D/A/CH Robotics Application of the Year Awards 2025

The ISPE Robotics Applications of the Year Awards is an annual awards program that recognizes innovative applications of robotics technologies in laboratories and manufacturing facilities. RAYA is an international award that emphasizes the relevance of modern robotics for our industry and aims to promote its further development. The focus is on increasing availability, efficiency and quality. Through the targeted use of modern technologies, processes can be made more stable, faster and more reliable – with positive effects on productivity, competitiveness and customer satisfaction.

This year, the RAYA Awards were presented for the fourth time – a sign of the growing importance of modern robotics and AI in our industry. The award ceremony took place at the renowned SIG Robotics & AI Workshop at Teradyne Robotics in Odense and Novo Nordisk in Hillerod, Denmark. This year’s workshop once again brought together leading experts and thought leaders to discuss the latest developments, best practices and visions for the future of intelligent automation. The fact that the RAYA Award was presented in this environment underlines its importance as a driving force for innovation and excellence.

Around 170 participants from the global pharmaceutical industry watched exciting pitches in ten award categories at the SIG Robotics & AI Workshop in Hillerod/Odense. A special highlight was the presentation of the Audience Award, which was voted on live at the event. In addition, two particularly innovative applications were awarded the “Trophy for Trends in Software” – a new category that will be firmly integrated into the award structure from 2026 and emphasizes the growing importance of intelligent software solutions for robotics in the pharmaceutical industry.
