Future Leaders Days 2023 – Ingenuity in Pharma – Smart Ways to Advance Drug Manufacturing

The European Emerging Leaders & Students present you the Future Leaders’ Days 2023 under the title Ingenuity in Pharma: Smart Ways to Advance Drug Manufacturing.
For the fifth time, we invite Emerging Leaders & Students to our annual Future Leaders’ Days at Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany. At the 2-day event, you will have the opportunity to look behind the scenes of the pharmaceutical industry, discuss the latest trends and network with other career starters and experts. During the 2 days, we will offer you a curated selection of exciting talks from experts and managers, interactive networking rounds, as well as the opportunity to visit the Merck KGaA site in Darmstadt.
This year we are dedicated to the focus topics of personalized medicine and smart manufacturing. In our wide-ranging lecture program, you will gain insights into the design of modern factories and production facilities, the digitalization of manufacturing processes, and how new cell and gene therapy products can be used for the personalized production of drugs. In addition to the technical content, our customized program will provide you with a number of insights into managing interdisciplinary teams as well as personal and career development strategies.
The entire event will be held in English.

Pre-Networking – November 15, 2023 (limited places)
Unique opportunity to get to know speakers, participants and the Orga team in a relaxed atmosphere before the actual event.
Day One – November 16, 2023
On day one, two different streams will take place simultaneously in two sessions, each dedicated to one of our main topics: smart manufacturing and personalized drugs. For both streams we have high profile speakers from different companies. Information about the speakers will be posted on our Linkedin page in the coming weeks.
At the end of the first day, all participants and speakers are invited to our networking event at the Henschel above. Here, with a unique panoramic view over the rooftops of Darmstadt, you can expect a small evening program of presentations, dinner and plenty of time for networking.
Day two – November 17, 2023
On day two we will round up the talk sessions on our main topics Smart Manufacturing and Personalized Drugs in a morning session.
After a shared lunch, there will be the opportunity to participate in either a plant tour at Merck KGaA or a workshop. The topic of the tour and the workshop will be posted on our Linkedin page in the coming weeks. Both options are limited in terms of the number of participants. We therefore recommend a quick registration.
