Annual General Meeting 2025
The Annual General Meeting of ISPE D/A/CH took place in Basel on September 15, 2025. The event provided a comprehensive overview of the organization’s developments, successes and future plans.
Highlights from 2024
- Membership growth: Record high with 1,662 members – ISPE D/A/CH is the largest affiliate in Europe and in second place worldwide.
- Workshops & events: 16 workshops with over 1,000 participants, including 7 tours.
- Finances: Solid annual financial statements with a net profit of CHF 48,000 on sales of CHF 285,000.
- Awards: Honors for special commitment, including for Robin Schiemer (Emerging Leader), Zen-Zen Yen (Pioneering Leadership), Manuela Ghebreyesus (Community Impact) and Hartmut Hensel (Lifetime Achievement). Also for the best publication to COP Aseptik Processing for their publication “Reevaluating Transfer of RtU Containers into Grade A”, Pharm. Narrow. 2025; and COP Project Management as Working Group of the Year.
Strategy & goals 2025/2026
- Target: >1 ,800 members in the D/A/CH region.
- Expansion of the CoPs/SIGs with own budget (CHF 5T each).
- Establishment of new formats such as the Robotics of the Year Award.
- Focus on digitalization, Pharma 4.0, sustainability and promoting young talent.
