The Growth Engine: Building Connections and Shaping the Future Together
In June 2026, the ISPE DACH Women in Pharma community gathered in Basel for “The Growth Engine – Setting Foundations for Tomorrow”, a two-day event focused on personal growth, professional development, social impact, and shaping the future of pharma. The summit was designed as a journey that guided participants from self-reflection to meaningful action and industry impact.
Starting with Self-Awareness
On day one, the event started with an interactive workshop on Insights Discovery, where participants explored their strengths, communication styles, and approaches to collaboration. Through open discussions and practical exercises, attendees gained valuable insights into how diversity of personalities and perspectives can become a powerful asset for teams and organizations.
A Summit Powered by Community
Day two brought together professionals from across the pharmaceutical industry to exchange ideas around the four Women in Pharma pillars: Personal Growth, Professional Development, Social Impact, and Shaping the Future of Pharma. Through inspiring presentations, workshops, and panel discussions, participants explored topics ranging from leadership and networking to innovation and creating impact beyond the workplace.
What truly made the event special was the engagement of the Women in Pharma community. Committee members, speakers, volunteers, sponsors, and participants all contributed to an atmosphere of openness, collaboration, and mutual support. The networking opportunities, meaningful conversations, and willingness to share experiences demonstrated the strength of a community that empowers its members to grow and succeed together.
