Report on the 48th GAMP D-A-CH Forum (Vienna)
Same procedure as last year? Same procedure as every … – no, of course not! Even though the structure has proven itself, every GAMP D-A-CH Forum is unique.
This year’s 48th Forum took place in Austria (more specifically, in Vienna) for the first time in many years. Following the working sessions held by the various groups the previous day—ranging from AI to digital validation—more than 50 participants gathered on September 9 for a lively exchange of experiences on computer-aided systems, automation, validation, and other GAMP®-related topics.
Three high-profile speakers provided valuable insights, discussing firewall rules in the GMP environment, the EU’s Digital Omnibus Regulation, and the validation of AI-based knowledge management systems. The large number of questions and comments that followed confirms the relevance of these fascinating topics. In closing, the “Module Type Package (MTP) for Pharma” Special Interest Group took the opportunity to present its experiences and findings.
